I am a child of Rastafari. In my early days my parents were part of a community of farmers on a 10 acre plot of land that was run as a Co-op, where they'd grow crops and tend to animals. My father was an EMT. By 1989 Hurricane Hugo had wiped out the island and we moved to Fayetteville, North Carolina.
I grew up in Durham, North Carolina, where I was immersed into the culture of Hip Hop. This is where I began my training on the psychosis of modern society. At an early age I began emceeing, painting, dancing, and producing music, following the ideas of KRS-ONE.
By my early teens I had done many analog recordings, contests, performances, but then got a computer and studied graphic design, code, and marrying my love of Hip-Hop with the tools of the coming digital age. All the while I was in non-profit programs for social justice, and business development for young artists.
In high school I began studying computer programming and network engineering. One day my older brother was paralyzed from the neck down due to an altercation with the local law enforcement, some time around my junior year. I eventually went on to get a BA in Art and Design from North Carolina State University after his passing a few years later.
I've found overtime these scars shape who i am, based on my perspective and resilience. I was lucky to be born an outsider, because I could note consciously when the grooves in my brain were made from the stimulus of my environment; in particular, racism, sexism, classism, and many other systems of perversion that have come to exist in this day and age.
By 2010 I'd moved to NYC where I'd further mature my light and sound manifestations. I'd begun to theorize a quantum god concept in line with our advancements in science and the teachings of all major religions birthed from Egyptian occult mystic practices, which I incorporated as Intergalactic Wave LLC by around 2013.
I am naturally inclined towards the pursuit of expanding consciousness, creating systems to generate various vibrations to refine life conditions for myself and others. This can manifest as art, technology, music, architecture, apparel, or simple prose. I no longer see the divisions in the medium of creative expression, it has become one as the sun and its orbits. I am now in the process of research and developing the tools of personal and global transformation; the first installation being "Quantum Helix: Fractal Galaxy" - my most recent audible catalog.
This is the digital manifestation of that album ethos and methodology, where I will experiment, document, publish, and refine all its components as a living manufactured intelligent entity. You are welcome and encouraged to join.
